Discover the answer to some of your summer problems, bottled up and ready to come to the rescue, in your Human Nature Lavender Oil!

With summer comes weekend adventures by the cool waters and under the warm sunshine… and sometimes unforeseen hiccups like travel woes, jellyfish stings and sunburns.

But fret not, the good news is you most probably already have the answer to some of your summer problems lying around in your home, bottled up and ready to come to the rescue – your Human Nature Lavender Oil.

1. If you have a fear of flying, you can use lavender oil to help you calm down before take off.
With its scent known to have a calming effect, lavender oil is traditionally used as a remedy for stress and anxiety. If you get nervous whenever you ride an aircraft, try mixing orange oil with lavender oil on the palms of your hands and smell the mixture during moments that trigger stress, usually just before take off and descent.

2. You can add lavender oil in your cold compress to help manage your skin's appearance when healing from a jellyfish sting.
Don't have a cold compress at hand? Make your own by mixing a few drops of lavender oil with cool water in a bowl. You then soak a washcloth in the mixture, wring it out and apply it on the affected area. Ta-da!

NOTE: Though for most of us our encounters with jellyfish stings is just discomfort on the affected area, there are species of highly toxic jellyfish. If you are experiencing intense pain and have painful, irritating blisters, rinse the area with vinegar and seek medical treatment immediately.

3. Include lavender oil in your sunburn treatment to help manage your skin's appearance while it's healing.
If you're using a water-based emollient such as aloe vera to help soothe your sunburn, try adding a few drops of lavender oil to the application. You can also sponge your skin with cold water mixed with a few drops of lavender oil every few hours to cool down your skin.
