With 3-4 times a week use, I feel my skin soft and smooth after every wash. The scent is more of a powdery feel towards rice and it might be more stimulating it there is a prominent hint of fruit such as mango or papaya. Lastly, the black rice exfoliating beads are unevenly huge, see image below. Try to reformulate/improve and consider micro-beads instead. That is from my consumer point of view. the product was good but there are areas that definitely need to be changed. like the scrubs for starters: they're just too big. it's difficult to spread it evenly on my face. i also bought your body scrub, it had a lot finer scrubs. maybe you could switch them or something? second is the scent. personally, i think it smells like lana (massage oil being sold outside of churches), probably because of its coconut component. maybe you could put in a bit of natural fragrance to mask the smell. This is the only facial scrub I've used which does not leave me dry and red. I use scrubs regularly because of my oily skin and I'm so happy to find an organic facial scrub. This is, without doubt, natural as I can smell the rice.

it makes my face feels so good, clean and refresh after using this but its bad smell bothers me... sorry to say but it smells like "suka" [EDITOR’S NOTE: Thank you for your product review, Ricamina. It does brighten my skin and makes your skin very soft and smooth after use. It didnt give me pimples either. Plus its all natural! No harm done:) I hope you can also create something like a tinted moisturizer with a high spf :) I have one from Nu skin, which is hypoallergenic, great for oily and sensitive skin, but quite expensive. Hope you think about formulating a product like that. Thanks:)

I really love this facial scrub! Unfortunately, one of my buyers went back to me this evening and told me she had rashes on her face the first time she used the product. Thinking that it might just be a reaction, she used it for the second time, and still her rashes made her face so red. Does this mean that this facial scrub is applicable to some skin types? i like the result after using this.. my face is so smooth.. but i don't like the scent & the scrubs are big.. maybe you could make the granules smaller, like in your body scrub..[EDITOR'S NOTE: Thank you for your feedback. The pros: Smells good doesn't have an overpowering scent, scrubs well. The cons: Runny. Scrub bits are a bit big, can be ground to a finer scrub. With improvements with the consistency and 'particle' size, this can compete with over the counter scrubs. [ EDITOR'S NOTE: Thank you for your feedback. hi i just got a feedback from my buyer. she likes it but she was complaining on the big cut of black rice.. i hope that we can improve our facial scrub. if we can grind the black rice like a sand/or a bit smaller. :) EDITOR'S NOTE - thanks for the feedback and sorry you didn't get on with it. recently, i used the FACIAL SCRUB - SUPER FRUITS & BLACK RICE FACIAL SCRUB twice consecutively (morning and night of the same day) --yup, its mild yet powerful-- to treat my sunburnt, unevenly-peeling face. on the second use, the parts which were heavily-sunburnt (nose, upper cheeks, forehead) were already of the same color tone as the rest of my face and neck. my face felt, lighter, cleaner (but not dry!) and way waayyy smoother than before i got sunburnt! this could even be used as a stand-alone as i have observed that it did not dry my skin. it exfoliated and moisturized my face at the same time...amazing! (one suggestion though...is it possible to make the black rice beads smaller? the size is kinda rough on the skin when massaged in.)

This is the best facial scrub I have ever tried. My skin felt so soft and smooth even after the morning after. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

I love how effective but gentle this product is. Who knew black rice is an effective sloughing agent? I also love the fact that it has a lot of fruit acids in it, maximizing my exfoliation experience! I have skin asthma but all your products prove safe, gentle and effective! THanks HHN! My only complaint is the Jasmin scent which I don't like. It says on the label "super fruits" so I'm hoping the scent would be something fruity like mandarin, watermelon or guava.

I'm afraid to try this product at first because i have sensitive skin, but after using it my skin didn't have allergic reaction or anything. It makes my skin soft and glowing.

This facial scrub is AMAZING. I used to buy an imported brand that uses crushed walnut shells as its exfoliating ingredient. But when my bottle ran out, I decided to try this one from HumanHeartNature, as one of my colleagues says it does its job pretty well. Unlike the crushed walnut shells, the toasted brown rice gives a nice feeling, sort of like telling you it's safe to rub 'em on your face. Being a Filipino and a rice-lover, we know rice has something good for our skin, not only as a nutritious food for the body. This facial scrub also has a mix of fruit extracts that leave our skin baby-soft after washing. It's happiness in a bottle, I'll say.

I definitely love this product! My face never felt this clean and refreshed. I also love the Calendula and Seaweed Gel facial wash. Thanks HHN for making organic products like these affordable and accessible.

this product is one of a kind! i never thought that brown rice can work!

I've been using countless facial scrubs over the years, but this is the one that satisfied me the most. It gently exfoliates your skin without making it feel too tight or dry. The only problem is, I think the consistency is a bit watery, causing me to pour more than what is needed...

This scrub has a light scent of rice. It is also gentle but leaves the face thoroughly clean. it is recommended to be used once a week but it feels so good that i want to use it everyday hehe. this is my favorite.

I've been using this product for two weeks now and it has certainly made my skin glow. I was a little leery about getting this scrub because I had a negative reaction to St. Ives Apricot Scrub before. And, believe me, my skin is not sensitive enough to get such a reaction from that product. Anyway, this cleanser is so very gentle because the brown rice beads are ground up very finely. Also, my face feels a little warm after I slather it on and massage it onto my face. Overall, this is a sweet and great product to have if you want glowing skin.

Equally good as the honey facial cleanser & exfoliates well. Deeply cleanses and moisturizes. Leaves skin very soft and glowing. Along with the honey face cleanser, the best facial cleanser I've used & one of my favorites. highly recommended
