I came across alarming statistics stating that the Philippines has the highest breast cancer rate in Asia and that 1 in every 13 Filipino women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Over the years, I've been meeting more and more women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, some succumbing to the disease and others surviving it. And it never occurred to me that I (or anyone in my family) could be one or the other later on. And this is why MammoMe, our new body wash, is very important to all of us women. Conducting a Breast Self Exam (BSE) doesn't come naturally to Filipinas but a daily reminder with how-to instructions at the very moment when the BSE should take place can help change all that. We are all surrounded by so much beauty - our country, our relationships, life's opportunities. And there's no better way to enjoy all of that than with good health!
