Hope you could improve the caps on the balms.
"Just like some of the other reviewers here, I used to love this balm because it was all-natural and really helped to moisturize my lips. When my tube of Tutti Frutti expired a few months ago, I ordered a new tube from a friend. When I got my order, the cap had already fallen off inside the brown paper bag that my friend put it in. I didn't really think much of it at the time because I simply assumed that the bag had gotten some rough treatment in my friend's purse.
Thing is, I'm used to putting the tube in the pocket of my jeans so that it would easy to retrieve whenever my lips felt dry. I never had problems with the old packaging even when I did that, so it was pretty disappointing when I put my hand in my pocket and came up with a sticky mess. The cap had come off while it was there and the balm was smeared all over my keys, my phone, and the pocket of my jeans. The balm was ruined, of course, so I had to throw it away. The sad thing was that I had only had it for a day or two at that point. Nakakapanghinayang.
I hope HNN will be able to improve the locking mechanism for the new tubes for the next shipment. Until then I'm going to have to stick with my icky commercial lip balm.

"First, I wanna say, I love all the HHN products I've used. Recently, I bought one wild berry lip balm for myself and one peppermint lip balm for my boyfriend. The lip balm really is effective and smells great too... But the only problem we had was that the cap/ cover does not close tightly. Like when I put it inside my pouch with my other stuff, at kung kukunin ko na ulit, wala na yung takip.. =( but still, overall, we love the product!!!!"

It moisturizes perfectly but excessively greasy.
"I actually discovered HN because I was searching for cheap chocolate lip balms. When I finally got the chocolate variant of this, I was totally exhilarated because I really love the scent of chocolate. But it was not the scent I was expecting. Rather, it smelled like the one of chocolate powder drinks which I’m not a big fan of. I still used it anyway because even though I’m not into the smell, I don’t despise it either.
Surprisingly, it really moisturized my lips! I love how it lasts and gives off a soft feeling.
But there is another con to this. It melts easily and gets really sticky. What’s worse is that the cap goes off every single time, leaving my bag really messy. And it looks like a mess itself. I don’t know but my tinted lip balm is not like this one. I have another unused one because I was thinking of giving it to my friend but I got scared that she might experience what I did.

The melting suggests it may have been exposed to high heat. The melting point is almost 60C, which suggests it may have been left inside a car or in direct sunlight. Wild Berry
"I swear wild berry was love at first sniff and glide but just after a couple of days, it starts to smell differently. Maybe it's because of the all-natural ingredients and no preservatives to hold on to the smell of wild berry, however, the smell after a couple of days becomes a little off-putting. But regardless if it starts to smell like wax, I still use it! I like the fact that it is slightly tinted - it compliments my natural rosy lips so that's one of the things I love about the wild berry balm. Another thing I love is how it exfoliates my eternally chappy lips. I use this before sleeping and by morning, I can just brush off the flaky skin away. I love wild berry - slightly tinted and effective for chappy lips. I just hope there's a way to improve the change in smell after some time. Thanks!

"I am totally addicted to this! (I bought Wild Berry) I threw away all my carmine and mineral oil filled collection of lipbalms. This is the best lipbalm my lips have ever experienced! I am also loving the smell. I keep on smelling it from the tube haha. Plus, I don't need to reapply over and over since it provides superb moisture! I apply this then apply the sunflower beauty oil for gloss and superior moisure :) Keep up the good work Human <3 Nature!"

"I use the peppermint lip balm. Ive used every lip balms at every stores before but this is the only one that solved my problem with dry, chapped lips. It's really effective. "I bought the choco-fudge variant and I loved sniffing it even though it made me crave for the real thing XD
I love that it doesn't sit on my lips like most waxy lip balms do, and that it didn't aggravate the sores that I got from using another brand (an allergic reaction, probably :/) I think this would be my favorite out of all your lip balms, since I wasn't really thrilled with tutti frutti and the tinted balms kind of smelled like crayons, for some reason.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'll repurchase :)"

old formula is better
"Was a fan of your old formula peppermint lipbalm which i haul from sesou. I loved it, has a comfortably minty smell and feel and really moisturizing and the only lip balm that healed my then cracking, bleeding lips. And then, you repackaged... So disappointed. :( The quality did became better in terms of stability, because it doesn't easily melt and appears solid on the tube. But i feel it was less moisturizing, less minty, dragged on my lips when applied and feels like wax.

Our reformulated lip balms do actually contain more all natural oils which can better help in healing cracked lips. We also make sure that new formulations get higher marks in our testing before releasing them into the market. All reformulations are tested by a panel of dealers and we only release when a clear majority of people prefer the new one. But there are often still a few, just like you, who prefer the old formula with any new product we release. However, you’ll be happy to know that we’ve been testing a stronger peppermint essential oil recently and will be using it very soon, hopefully within August 2012.
