Rachel Grant Meet & Greet Curious to know what our Global Ambassador, Rachel Grant, has been up to since she's arrived here in the Philippines? Well, aside from guesting on several radio shows, judging Miss Earth and getting involved in a few GK events, she's also been very active in helping us promote and educate others about our Read the Label campaign. Last December 2, 2011, Rachel had a meet and greet at Rustans Supermarket in Rockwell. There, she met loyal Human Nature supporters and talked to them about ALWAYS reading the label -whether it's with the personal care products that you use, the makeup you apply on your face or the food that you ingest. All are just as important. Rachel also gave the shoppers a sneak peek at what it is that she buys when going to the grocery store. Hello Noche Buena and Medya Noche! ☺ Prep your refrigerator for all the leftovers that you're sure to have and make sure it's clean and odor-free. Here are a few natural remedies to keep your refrigerator odorless. Putting a piece of coal in a small cup or plate and placing it in the refrigerator will help keep the odor away. Mix some baking soda in warm water and clean your fridge by dipping a sponge in the water. Baking soda has an odor absorbing element and is a very effective way and an inexpensive solution to the problem. White vinegar can also be used to clean the fridge and keep it fresh. Coffee beans in a jar are used in perfume shops to neutralize the strong perfume smells when you go to choose a perfume. The same technique can be used for your refrigerator. Put a small cup or jar of coffee beans with its lid open to diffuse the smell. Lastly, do not overload your fridge with stuff as this hinders the circulation of the airflow which causes food spoilage. We hope these tips helped!
