It's been a dizzying year that's resulted in over 20 new groundbreaking products, the launch of the Pinay & Proud campaign to celebrate the uniqueness of Filipina women, and finally, the opening of three new branches by year-end! We're particularly excited about that, so do drop by the new Human Nature stores in San Fernando, Pampanga and Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.
It's not just Human Nature that's growing though, in fact, other social enterprises have been expanding rapidly, and we're so excited to promote these truly fantastic products.

Fantastic news awaits you this yuletide season! We're proud to announce that we have two brand new Human Nature branches - and we can't wait to open one more! Finally, the goodness of Human Nature's natural products is made more accessible to Cabanatueños, Pampangeños, and Ilocanos.
An employee and entrepreneur, an owner of trading company and printing press, and an operator of a food chain - these are the profiles of our newest branch operators from Cabanatuan, San Fernando, Pampanga, and Isabela , respectively. Their profiles may be different, but they have one thing in common: they are all passionate about carrying Human Nature products for their kababayans to experience.
Janice Manuel, our branch operator from Cabanatuan, envisions Human Nature to play an important role in the development of their province. After years of being a businesswoman, she never thought that enterprises could help the poor and impact the lives of many people; which is why it absolutely delights her to be part of Human Nature, a business with a cause. Also partners in the business are Dr. Nick Echavez and Dr. Wilfredo Reyes. Through their areas of influence, Human Nature will become the true brand of choice for the smart consumers of Cabanatuan.
From operating a printing press, San Fernando, Pampanga Branch Operators Raymund and Justin David are embarking on a whole new business. Strong believers in the value of using natural and organic products, Raymund and Justin aim to provide easier access to healthy and natural products for Pampangeños.
Soon opening the northernmost branch in the Philippines is Veronica Manalo. She was very persistent about carrying Human Nature in Isabela after hearing about the brand from a relative who was active in Gawad Kalinga. In just a few months, Veronica was able to meet a lot of people who aren't just users of the product but sharers in the advocacy as well. Already operating several restaurants in Isabela, Veronica feels the need to finally embark on the Human Nature adventure because it will be her own way of helping the poor farmers by spreading Only the Good.

Pinay and Proud Goes to Universities and Congress!
Human Nature continues to honor the beauty and virtues of the Filipina woman as we travel from one exciting venue to another! There's no stopping our PINAY & PROUD tour which is still going strong with our grandest stop yet at the Philippine Congress in Batasan, Quezon City.
Last October 15, Congress representatives and staff alike took part in paying tribute to all Filipinas from all walks of life as exemplified by 15 outstanding Pinay & Proud women. Our beloved Anna Meloto-Wilk opened the occasion with a few introductory words on the Pinay & Proud campaign. Human Nature's own Skin and Makeup Category Manager Lyra Prieto emceed the afternoon program, which featured two fantastic Pinay & Proud speakers who took time off to share their inspirational words and what it means to be a true Filipina at heart: Rose Cabrera, the homecoming patriot who traded in her Benz and the rest of her American dream to live a simpler life serving others back home the GK way, and Congresswoman Aliah Dimaporo, the trailblazing leader who left her executive position in New York to work in the service of her own countrymen. In championing the dignity of the Filipina, Aliah wishes to share the Human Nature and Pinay & Proud advocacies not only among congressmen and congresswomen, but also among everyday employees.

DIY Simple Homemade Air Freshener
Want a simple & inexpensive way to keep bad room odors at bay the natural way? Baking soda is great for removing odors without the use chemical aerosols. Try this quaint little homemade air freshener and see for yourself!
What you'll need:
| * | 1 small canning jar |
| * | 1 hammer |
| * | 1 nail |
| * | Baking soda |
| * | Lavender Essential Oil |
What to do:
| 1. | Use a hammer and a nail to poke holes in the lid of a small canning jar. |
| 2 | Fill the jar about 1/4 full with baking soda. |
| 3 | Add 6-8 drops of lavender essential oil. |
*Mix and match for every room! It also makes a fantastic car freshener because it absorbs the "kulob" and food smells effectively. You can make this DIY even more fun by hammering in different lid designs and experimenting with essential oil blends. Keep out of reach from kids and pets!

But what you don't know about this Japanese-American model is that she's not just beautiful outside, she's extremely beautiful on the inside too.
