 Dear Friends,
In the past few weeks, the Philippines has been in the global spotlight because of the devastation wreaked on our country by the strongest typhoon to ever hit land. In the midst of grief we were also overwhelmed by the waves of compassion and generosity that humanity has showered upon us. We were inspired by the stories of heroism and faith of Filipinos who survived and resolved to rise from the rubble. Human Nature, through Gawad Kalinga, is committed to providing relief and helping in the rehabilitation of the Visayas. This week, we also celebrate a major milestone: Human Nature's 5th year anniversary! We are grateful, committed, and humbled by the support and loyalty that you have shown us and that have allowed us to provide opportunities for our employees from Gawad Kalinga communities as well as farming partners. We look forward to the next 5, 10, 20 years with you building a global Filipino brand with a heart that can embolden other businesses to better serve society.

| OPERATION WALANG IWANAN: TYPHOON YOLANDA (HAIYAN) |
 | Almost 3 weeks after Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) hit the Visayas region, Gawad Kalinga's Operation Walang Iwanan: Typhoon Yolanda is still urgently appealing for donations in kind and cash to help rebuild the areas of Iloilo, North Negros, Ormoc and Cebu.
DONATE. Gawad Kalinga accepts cash donations via credit card or BPI bank deposit and donations in kind at their at their FTI-Taguig Command Center. Priority needs include rice, water, milk, vitamins, canned goods, cooking tools, utensils, and construction materials.
VOLUNTEER. Visit one of Gawad Kalinga's FTI-Taguig Command Center starting 9AM to help in the repacking and distribution of donations:

LATEST UPDATE: As of November 19, 2013, over 8,000 volunteers have been mobilized in Metro Manila. Gawad Kalinga has received 60,000 food packs, which are being repacked and distributed to their three bases in Borongan, Baybay, and Tacloban. Thanks to your hope and generosity, GK is now targeting to reach 200,000 food packs in the next 2 weeks! Reconstruction efforts in Ormoc are also expected to begin in 2 weeks' time.
