 Dear Friends,
One of the women that I truly admire is my sister-in-law, Eena. She epitomized the empowered woman on the outside - successful career and attractive. But her search for a higher purpose led her to become a GK volunteer. Her jet-setting lifestyle was replaced by uncomfortable bus trips to far-flung communities, her office changed from a Makati high-rise to makeshift tables in multi-purpose halls.
She is strong, grounded, an amazing mother, a loving wife and a brilliant strategic mentor. In my eyes, the peaks and troughs of her life and the way she has lived with courage, grace and an unwavering faith in God makes her truly beautiful.

Last April 29, we at Human Nature including our friends and partners who are passionate about the environment, celebrated the first ever #SOSCoastival! From sunup to sundown, sea-tizens worked hand in hand in filling the wide stretch of beach with a beautiful 180-meter art using only eco-friendly methods: no paints, plastics and other sea-harming materials. This is to signify our call for help and pledge to save our seas by leaving no trace when going to the sea. Just good memories made and bonds made even stronger.
