![]() Dear Human Nature Dealer, We celebrate yet another milestone as Human Nature turns 2 years old today! The past 24 months have been as challenging as they have been fulfilling for all of us here and we can't wait to see how the next 24 months will unfold. Through thousands of dealers like you, the good news about why chemical-free natural and organic products should be an important part of everyone's daily personal care regimen has spread far and wide all over the Philippines and even into other countries. In recognition of how valuable you are to us as a dealer and a fellow advocate, we have decided to launch a dealer-exclusive newsletter called "Heart of the Matter" which will contain all matters concerning your Human Nature business such as dealer programs, promos and incentives, announcements on products & pricing including items for discontinuance, etc. Heart of the Matter will be released quarterly or as often as necessary to make sure dealers get the news first. We hope that you will find Heart of the Matter helpful in growing your business and making you an effective Human Nature advocate. We encourage you to share with us your feedback and insights on how we can get closer to being a globally competitive yet locally relevant social enterprise. God bless your hearts! Sincerely, ![]() Joanna Gilladoga Head of Marketing Gandang Kalikasan Inc. DEALER PROGRAMS & PROMOTIONS Recruitment Rewards Program Continue to build your base and expand your network of Human Nature users and dealers! The Recruitment Rewards Program (RRP) is still on-going to continue supporting you and your business! Earn rewards for successfully recruiting dealers!
The great thing about it is that the rewards are cumulative! This means that by the time you have 10 recruits, you would have received a pen, a mug, a toiletry bag and an umbrella! Then, the counter resets back to zero. For the next 1st recruit, you get a pen. For the 3rd recruit, you get a mug. And so on... Promo ends December 31, 2010. Php499 Registration Promo Give your Human Nature business a boost by recruiting friends and family members outside the reach of your own selling efforts for only Php499. That’s Php326 savings from the Php825 registration fee! Promo ends December 31, 2010. Tip of the Trade: The Php499 Recruitment Initiative is effective to use to recruit your prospects who are planning on "doing the business". If they do not want to be an active Human Nature dealer and prefer to purchase only for their personal consumption, it is better for you to simply continue selling products to them at retail price. You should focus your recruitment efforts on prospects who really intend to do the business. Also, it is best for dealers to recruit prospective dealers who can cover areas they themselves cannot cover. Tip of the Trade: Recruit prospects who are planning on "doing the business". List of Products for Discontinuance We strive to provide you with the best product formulations we can come up with and make sure that you only have the products that deliver good sales for your business. We go through our entire product selection regularly to identify products that need improvement based on dealer and customer feedback. You will notice that the following items that were featured in Catalogue Issue No. 3 Vol 2010 are no longer featured in the new Catalogue Issue No. 4 Vol 2010. Please download the information sheet on all our new products here for more details of the new formulations we have. We may still have stock of some or all of the following discontinued products for the next few weeks or even months until we run out, which should keep very loyal users happy. Please enquire with your local branch. 1. Mandarin Lip Balm - please encourage them to try out the new Sheer Lip Soother tinted lip balm. Reason for discontinuance: People were clamoring for a tinted lip balm and Mandarin was not very popular. 2. Nourishing Shampoos & Conditioners – please encourage them to try out the Moisturizing & Strengthening Shampoos and Conditioners. Reason for discontinuance: Low sales volume as people were patronizing either the strengthening or moisturizing shampoos & conditioners. 3. Tomato & Lemongrass Facial Wash & Toner – please convert them to Balancing Facial Wash & Toner. Reason for discontinuance: Better formulation with deeper cleansing and the new toners don't include sodium benzoate, which some people found irritating. 4. Moringa Facial Wash & Toner - please convert them to Hydrating Facial Wash & Toner. Reason for discontinuance: Better formulation which is more hydrating and the new toners don't include sodium benzoate, which some people found irritating. 5. Honey & Cocoa Butter Cleanser & Make-Up Remover – please encourage them to try out the new Sunflower Cleansing Oil 200ml. Reason for discontinuance: Sunflower oil is far more effective as a make-up remover than our previous Honey Cleanser. Even though the new cleansing oil is more expensive, you use much less of it so it costs about the same per use. But it is much more effective at removing mascara and other difficult to shift make-up plus it doubles as a moisturizer while cleansing. 6. Aloe Vera & Guava Facial Wash - please convert them to Balancing Facial Wash & Toner. Reason for discontinuance: Much better formulation. 7. Calendula & Seaweed Facial Wash - please convert them to Hydrating Facial Wash & Toner. Reason for discontinuance: Much better formulation. 8. Strawberry Body Butter - please convert them to the sweet-smelling Mango. Reason for discontinuance: The strawberry variant was not selling very well vs the Mango. 9. Strawberry Hand Soap - please convert them to either Mandarin or Lemongrass. Reason for discontinuance: The strawberry variant was not selling very well vs the other variants. 10. Strawberry Hand & Body Lotion - please convert them to either Mango or Guava, both of which are also as sweet-smelling as the Strawberry scent. Reason for discontinuance: The strawberry variant was a poor performer from a total category point of view. Intensive Hair Mask Pricing Please note that the pricing for the Rosemary scented Intensive Hair Mask with Gugo Bark & Avocado has now been brought back to its original pricing. If you recall, in Catalogue Issue No. 3 Volume 2010, the pricing was printed at Php84.75 instead of Php89.75 for the 50g, and Php249.75 instead of Php259.75 for the 200g. We have opted then to keep it that way (as a special treat for all of you!) but with the intention of reflecting the correct pricing in Issue no. 4 Volume 2010. DEALER TRAINING: CLOSING THE SALE There are different ways to close the sale but it’s very important to close the sale in a manner that assumes the sale has been made: • ASSUME that your customer will buy the product: “You will super love our new Love Minerals mineral make-up line!” • Highlight the URGENCY: “The mineral make-up has just been released so it’s sure to sell out fast! Safest to order it now.” • Give CHOICES as to which products to buy instead of just asking IF they would like to buy: “Which shade would you like – Boracay Bronze or Island Shell?” After closing the sale, always CONTINUE TO BUILD your business by asking for referrals: "Who do you know would like to see a Human Nature catalogue or learn about Human Nature?” OTHER IMPORTANT UPDATES Filipina Beauties to Spread Human Nature’s Advocacies Beauty, brains, love for the country, love for the poor and love for the environment are what Human Nature Ambassadors are made of.
