This is a good product but one concern was raises by some users, which is the uncomfortable shape. The edges are too sharp especially at first use and some users get their skin scratched from it. Initially I ordered the 100% Cleansing Bar but my former colleague who sells HN products recommended this soap instead. I was a bit leery since this is a soap for men, but she said it's also good for women too and the smell of peppermint is nice. After using it, I love it because it does leave a squeaky feel on the skin that does not dry my skin and it lathers so easily, unlike the usual soaps I used before. My son is very athletic and is forever outdoors. He has sensitive skin too like me but with this he doesn't get itchy spots. I absolutely love this product! I chose it over the unscented natural cleansing bar because it won me over with it's scent. I held it close to my nose and that's all it took. It makes me feel so clean and fresh after using it; no residue, just the squeaky clean feeling. It lasted just a week for me since I bathe twice a day, but I still love it! I'll try the recommendations of a number of users on the natural cleansing bar page to put the soap on a flat soap dish wish holes to help the water filter out, then let it stand this way | versus ___. The soap is great and I love the scent but I'm wondering why Sodium Hydroxide is included in the soap formulation, I mean, Sodium Hydroxide is known to be a skin and eye irritant. [EDITOR'S NOTE: Hi Patrick! Sodium hydroxide is the base that reacts with the natural coconut oil to produce our soap. It is only considered as an irritant in its pure form, but after mixing with coconut oil, it is neutralized in the process of saponification, producing our soap - which is gentle on the skin. I bought this product for my husband who loves trying different products. His comments: 1. It was like washing with menthol, which he really likes. 2. Felt squeaky clean after - no residues. 3. Would have loved this more if the product would last a little longer. It 'melts' faster compared to drugstore brands, but I guess it has something to do with being all natural.
