"Filipina women are very caring... it's nice to be able to touch other people's live with that quality, and I've seen Filipino women do that. To me that's very precious and special, and I hold that very close to my heart."

The very first Filipina Bond Girl. Fearless international adventurer. Martial arts enthusiast. Actress. Travel writer. Rachel Grant is all these and more.

Born in Manila to a Filipina mother and a British father, Rachel is part Filipina, English, Scottish, French and Canadian, and shares blood ties with the British royal family, making her 3rd cousins with Princes William and Harry.

However, it is her being Filipina that she is most effusive about, and her outward beauty is nothing compared to the beauty in her heart. Together with her mother, Rachel helps run their family charity – The Padua Charitable Fund (PCF) - to give help and hope to Filipinos in need. Through PCF, they have built a Gawad Kalinga Village in Paranaque.

An avid humanitarian, Rachel constantly involves herself in a variety of projects splitting her time between London, Los Angeles, New York and the Philippines. Whether the project focuses on education for children, for sustainable livelihood for Filipino farming communities, or promoting the arts to the masses, Rachel pours her heart in them all.

As Human Nature Global Ambassador, Rachel also takes to heart her role in promoting whatever is good for the Philippines, the environment, and the Filipino people.

To see lives of my fellow Filipinos change is so rewarding and it gives me so much happiness. I will continue to do that for the rest of my life. I know that for sure."
