Meet everyday hero Paolo Soler, a man whose passion powers his days.
Discovering your passion in life is not easy, but Paolo found his passion for surfing at age 9 through his frequent family trips in Agoo, La Union. Following his success as a model and TV personality, Paolo turned his passion into business through Skwala Surfboards and his school, the Philippine Surfing Academy.
Paolo also empowers communities by boosting local tourism and enabling locals to become globally accredited surfing instructors through the Academy of Surfing Instructors, the gold standard in the surfing industry.
“One of our students wasn’t able to finish high school, but now he’s a surfing instructor. It’s not just an education — for me, it’s an opportunity for them to have a better chance at life,” Paolo shared.
