Beauty, brains & a heart for the environment graced our Human Nature Flagship Store with Miss Earth 2013 candidates!

Beauty, brains and a heart for the environment are the hallmarks of a Miss Earth candidate - and what better place to let those winning traits shine than at Human Nature?

Last April 5, the Human Nature Flagship Store was graced with the presence of the world-class beauties of Miss Philippines Earth 2013, who came to shop, learn about our social enterprise and our natural, pro-Philippines, pro-poor, and pro-environment products, and chat a bit with the store staff and fellow shoppers.

A few candidates got snapshots taken with Human Nature social enterprise products sourced or made in and near their hometown provinces!

Miss Earth 2013

Kristine Gail Sandoval of San Pedro, Laguna posed with a Jacinto & Lirio iPad case; Caneille Faith Santos of Marilao, Bulacan with a Precious Herbal Pillow; Casey Ann Austria from Bicol, where we source citronella oil, posed with our Citronella Bug Spray & Bug Shield; and Chriscember Joy Nunez from Iloilo (where we source virgin coconut oil) posed with our our Citronella Bug Spray - and showed some lovin' for our Furry Kind Cocomutt Shampoo, too!

Our co-founder and president Anna Meloto-Wilk shared the story of Human Nature with the forty lovely ladies, sisters all in the advocacy of promoting environmental awareness and protecting nature. It was just two years ago that Human Nature partnered with Miss Earth for our CommPassion campaign to support the passion fruit farming community in GK Catigan, Davao - and the legacy of beauty and environmental responsibility lives on.


Here at Human Nature, we too take pride in celebrating beauty with a cause. We wish all the Miss Philippines Earth candidates the best of luck!
