Amidst the downpour and flooding brought by the Southwest Monsoon, the Bayanihan spirit continues to live on among our volunteers, partners, advocates and heroes of Gawad Kalinga.

With the help of 380 volunteers, Gawad Kalinga has deployed 1,924 relief packs to various communities whose homes have been greatly affected by the torrential rainfall.

In this season of calamity, let us be reminded of our less fortunate brothers and sisters and show our true Pro-Philippines spirit. Though alert levels from PAGASA have gone down, there are still areas which are submerged, victims who need rescuing, and shelters that need to continue providing basic needs. The country needs YOUR help in leaving no one behind.

Here’s how YOU can take part in joining OPERATION WALANG IWANAN:

1. VOLUNTEER or GIVE IN KIND

Urgently needed are canned goods, noodles, bottled water, crackers, rice, bread, coffee, sugar, clothes, beddings and soap. Please join us at the GK Command Centers for Relief Operations at the following venues:

  • North NCR: HRD Training Center, Department of Agrarian Reform Compound, Quezon City (take Gate 1). We are ready to accept relief goods. Operation Walang Iwanan began on August 7 and is still ongoing. Contact 09991889683/ 09064192016/ 09228483806.
  • Rizal: JCI Cainta Oplan Agapay, AYA and GK Rizal Operation Walang Iwanan is at the 2nd Floor, 165 Loremar Annex Bldg., ML Quezon St., Antipolo City (in front of Shopwise Antipolo). Contact 09068132171/ 09153543754/ 09327330572. We will start operations on August 8.
