Meet one of Human Nature's heroes: Quincy Gonzales, Graphic Design Genius!
A former seminarian, Quincy, fondly called “Q” in the office, is a man of many talents, interests and skills. A fantastic crooner who could melt any girl’s heart, he’s a member of Canto Cinco and Musica Chiesa (Jesuit music ministry choirs) and is also a radio disc jockey for an online station, Sari Sari sounds. Even as a young boy, his passion for the arts was already very prevalent; he joined declamation contests, signed up for art classes and romped around performing arts clubs. So it was no surprise to anyone that he decided to take Communication Arts in the Ateneo de Manila University. After finishing his degree, he became a designer in a school aimed at creating vibrant and fun educational experiences for young kids. His job? Making learning awesome for children with his quirky and appealing illustrations!
However, Q still felt he wanted to do more in life, but he didn't know what. So he searched for a while and did freelance work, hoping he would find an answer. One day he was approached by a friend to do a project for Human Nature. Upon joining the company, he fell in love with our vision, philosophy, and advocacies. He then realized that being a full-time designer for Human Nature was actually great! It finally dawned upon him that he craved to work with like-minded, like-hearted people towards geared towards a bigger vision; something he found in the company.
Six months into the job, Q says working in Human Nature has been extremely rewarding. He's the genius behind the packaging designs of our I Help Goodness Grow Tote Bag, Berry Bliss Healthy Lotion, Feminine Wash, Furry Kind Natural Cocomutt Shampoo, and a whole bunch of up and coming new products! He shares that one time he saw someone walking around with a tote bag he designed. “I was all-smiles,” Q shares. “Those little things really make a difference to a designer, and I'm glad I'm able to experience that in Human Nature.”
Many, many thanks, Q, for all your hard work! May you continue to color the world with your skill, talent and ingenious creativity!
