Breakfast is better when shared. That’s why Human Nature decided to make mornings more meaningful by sharing love within nearby communities through a simple breakfast meal

The idea is simple: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but sadly, not everyone has the means for it. Something we take for granted most days is something others can only wish for. So in our own little way, Human Nature aims to help bridge this gap by providing warm pandesal, cups of coffee, and nutritious eggs to our neighboring areas to start the day on a positive note for both recipients and volunteers alike.

Being part of Breakfast with Neighbors is always fulfilling! You start your day by sharing your blessings, and you end it knowing na you were able to make someone’s day a bit better. It’s also always nice to see the look on the people’s faces every after BFN. Then after work, I see some of them around and they recognize me as one of the people who gave coffee and breakfast that morning. Really heartwarming,” Louise Guiao, copywriter/regular volunteer from the Comms-Marketing Team shares.

Every single morning, employees from different departments in our company come together not just as colleagues but as an amazing breakfast brigade. Our mission? To live out our core value of Love for Neighbor: making sure our neighbors from nearby communities don’t just get a meal, but a whole dose of belonging and care. It’s like a big group hug to kickstart the day on the right note.

“Breakfast With Neighbor schedules are relatively earlier than my usual time-ins at work, but I don’t mind doing it with my teammates because I know that we’re in it together. BWN has one goal, and that is to feed and nourish those who are in need. With my teammates, we achieve this every time! This volunteer activity feeds not just tummies, but our hearts as well,” Lou says.

One of our earliest advocacies, our Breakfast with Neighbor program has been nourishing not just bodies but also hearts, bringing to life the Filipino value of “Walang Iwanan” since 2012. Keeping our company’s vision to be faithful stewards of God-given talents and natural resources in mind, we aim to uplift others in any small way we can. Even with just a simple cup of coffee each day.

As employees, our team at Human Nature believes that breakfast is a simple yet powerful way to support our community.

“It may not be the grandest gesture, but I believe that even the smallest act of kindness leaves a really big impact,” Lou shares.

Just like planting a seed, by providing a nourishing meal to those in need, we hope to inspire a chain reaction of kindness and hope, where others are empowered to share their own acts of goodwill with others.

Since the initiation of our flagship operation, the program has been consistently serving these simple meals to our neighbors with each volunteer given the means to prepare additional food items through a fund of P750 provided by the company.

In a world that sometimes feels cold and detached, and in the middle of one of the busiest streets in the Metro, we want to make our Commonwealth Flagship Store not just a center of world-class quality genuinely natural products but also a center of goodness amidst the daily rush – a reminder that each day is an opportunity to bring warmth, hope, and goodness to others.
Like clockwork, our Breakfast with Neighbors program happens from Monday to Saturday from 6:30-7:30 AM at our Commonwealth Flagship Store. Every sunrise, a reminder that we’re all in this together, making mornings a whole lot brighter, one cup of coffee and one warm pandesal at a time.
