How do you eradicate extreme poverty? It’s WAY too big a mission for one person alone to realize!

So what do you do? Build an army - of nation-builders, advocates, environmentalists, young change-makers, and pioneers of social justice from all sectors – and gather them together from all ends of the earth.

Ready to challenge the impossible, Jonas Guyot & Matthieu Dardaillon of Destination Changemakers joined forces with Gawad Kalinga to spread its advocacy to empower our poor by providing land for the landless, building homes for the homeless, giving food to the hungry, and bringing the market to our country’s smallest producers.

GK's strategy is simple: start out with a handful of social enterprises – our country’s smallest and most underrated producers – and equip them with the skills and opportunities to enter a sphere of business where trade is fair, wages are just, and communities grow as a collective unit in the true spirit of bayanihan. Budding entrepreneurs and their seed ideas are welcomed at the GK Enchanted Farm, a pilot site for social enterprises (just like Human Nature!) that aim to uplift the poor by doing business in a radical new way.
