We, at Human Nature, express our core values through our love languages. First of which is fullness of life. We believe that God designed us to live a rich and satisfying life, and to be instruments that others may also live as fully as we do. This is further manifested in another love language–stewardship. We recognize that everyone and everything is a gift from God. We are tasked to faithfully care for and nurture what we are given. Not only are we called to grow our personal care business, we are also called to grow each person in our organization. The Human Nature Childcare Center or Daycare embodies this calling.

The Daycare under the Childcare Center, has been birthed in response to the needs of our employees for work-life balance and secure family environments.

When our employees who were parents of young children had to choose between their kids and work, our President and Co-Founder, Anna Meloto-Wilk, decided to put up the Daycare, under the care of Coco Cruz of our Social Enterprises Development team. With Human Resources partner, Lalaine Coching and Team Partners and advisors, Tanya and Alex Gutierrez, the Daycare was launched on February 13, 2019 at Paraluman Street in Holy Spirit Drive in Don Antonio.

The teachers ensured the little ones were growing in knowledge while being trained and prepared for the big school and life while their parents focused on providing for their needs.

We are happy to be the “youngest” member of the Human Nature family. We take pride in our work; supporting the families of our community. As teachers, we are able to share our God-given talents and skills. We are able to practice being stewards of God’s children, being kind and compassionate. We believe that the Daycare is a gift from God, this is His home. It is an honor to work with the team and do all these things for God.” explains Team Lead, Kristine Pagala, lovingly called Teacher Tin.

The journey wasn’t always smooth sailing, especially with the challenges thrown by the pandemic. When the world locked down, our Daycare’s dedicated team of teachers embraced online learning so that our little learners continued to thrive. When it opened up again, they made the shift from virtual classrooms back to face-to-face interactions seamless.

The Childcare Center believes in the uniqueness of every little one, that each child has his or her own pace, style and personality. This is why they are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and discovery. Learning is anchored on the teachings of Christ, creating a nurturing environment where children blossom.

They are guided by Jesus’s words in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

This verse encapsulates the spirit of our Daycare, where every child is welcomed with open arms, embraced for who they are, and encouraged to explore the wonders of learning and loving Christ and each other.

Now it has a new name – Family Support Team. With this change in name comes a wider responsibility which includes  strengthening the bonds within our community. It has also transferred  to its new and nearer home in Molave Street in Feria.

The services they offer in commitment to our employees’ families are preschool readiness assessments, tutorials, parent counseling and workshops – all to ensure that our employees and their families get the resources and support they need.

Here’s what parents from outside Human Nature have to say:

Thank you, Teachers Tanya & Karol… Jack had fun with the experiment and he super enjoyed answering your questions!” –Xilca, Jack’s mom

David has autism but he is highly functioning and very bright. He is conversant in English, not in Filipino. It is only in your Pinoy Ako Class that David tried reading in Filipino. He enjoyed the class and the discovery of the Filipino language!” – Irene, David’s mom
