I've been using this at home and in my apartment and it really does the job! I can sleep without worrying of any insect bites. I would just suggest if HHN could also produce a natural diffuser. I searched online and saw reed diffusers made of rattan but these usually are shipped from abroad.

I mix with vodka, and spray on my doors and windows once a week. No flies, mosquitoes, and ants!!! I just spray more often during the summer, but it has definitely gotten rid of pesky insects at home!

Will this work with ants, too? We're having lots of ants at home, even if we clean everyday. Somehow they always show up whenever there is food. I haven't tried this oil yet but am planning to buy one as natural mosquito repellent. Anyway I'm rating it 5 stars because other customers seem very satisfied with this product. :) [EDITOR'S NOTE: Hello Iya! We're so thrilled that you loved our Citronella Oil. However, please note that we haven't tested it's effectiveness against preventing ants that's why we can't guarantee that it'll work. I love my dog and I don't want to hurt him. It became a big problem for my family when my dog barked and whined excessively. I searched on the internet for safe and effective ways to control my dog. I stumbled upon a site which mentioned that a homemade citronella spray can do wonders for a dog like mine. I immediately rushed into our local Human Nature branch to purchase a bottle of Citronella Heritage Oil! After concocting a bottle of homemade citronella bark spray, I decided to give it a try after hearing my dog bark excessively for no reason. I sprayed my dog under his muzzle. He got annoyed with the scent but he became calm and quiet! (I don't use it on him when he barks because of a stranger or his health.) I also bring the bottle with me whenever we go out for a walk. It helped me ward off aggressive dogs safely. It also deters stray cats and dogs after spraying some on our gate. I also spray it on areas where there are bugs and insects that could bite my dog and I. I'm very thankful that this product solved my dog's barking and whining issues. It helped me discipline him without hurting him.

Our house attracts plenty of mosquitoes. I googled and saw that if you mix essential oil with vinegar or high grade vodka that it will be dissolved. So I mix this with vodka in a spray bottle and spray it near where mosquitoes live and it work to make them go away! Is this the same as bug shield and can be used on skin? My husband put some and he thinks its the same product but more expensive. [EDITOR'S NOTE: Hi Nicole! What a fantastic idea! We're so glad you've found an innovative natural repellent against mosquitoes! For a topical repellent, we recommend using our Bug Shield Oil or Lotion for protection against mosquitoes as they have added moisturizers to keep skin soft and smooth :) Thank you!]
