Finding Love Close to Home

The best love stories start in the most peculiar places, and in the case of Marikina Branch Co-operator Joy Carpio, it started far away from home. "I first heard of Human Nature in the US. When I got sick, we decided as a family that it was time for a lifestyle change and that included looking for natural products which we could shift to." 

Joy's family searched far and wide for natural products but the products they found proved to have prices too steep. It was when Joy visited her brother and sister-in-law in Chicago and asked for recommendations that she got try her first Human Nature products.

So impressed both by the performance and the affordability, she quickly asked if she can have some of these shipped to her. Her sister-in-law chuckled once Joy found out it was just a short drive from her home.  "I was so shocked because I didn't know there were such products in Manila. As soon as we got back, we headed to the Flagship store and bought everything that the family could use."

 

A Family Decision to Spread Goodness

In no time, Joy's whole family fell in love not just with Human Nature products but also with the company's advocacy. "Even our children – ages 13 and 8 – now read the label and promote what is good and healthy and how it helps the poor," says Joy.

It was almost a natural next step for them to put up a Human Nature branch of their own, and they became even more determined when Joy and her husband Francis got runner-up for last year's Dealer Recruitment Rewards!

"The path was challenging," said Joy, explaining that the process took almost one and a half year, "but with God's help and the trust of family and friends, we finally have a branch in Marikina!"

And she, along with her whole Human Nature Marikina family, can't wait to start their own love story with their fellow Marikeños, "One day, Human Nature will be a household name, every Marikeno will speak of its goodness for oneself, the Philippines, the poor and the environment!"
