For Lucena’s branch operator Glenda Evidente, her journey with Human Nature began like many others when she was introduced to Human Nature products by Thea Bartolome, Human Nature dealer and Glenda’s teammate in Rower’s Club Philippines (RCP). An outdoor enthusiast at heart, Glenda found that our Sunflower Beauty Oil was perfect for moisturizing and protecting her hair from the harsh sun when rowing, while our Bug Shield Oil  effectively kept insects away during her treks and mountain climbs.

Because of her growing love for Human Nature products, Glenda yearned for a more convenient way to get ahold of her favorite natural products when there weren’t many dealers or branches near enough to frequent. It was during one of her visits to our San Pablo branch that Glenda was inspired to become a dealer herself – never imagining that she would eventually become a branch operator!

"I was inspired by the video [that San Pablo branch] showed me about the advocacies in which I really believe in,” Glenda recalls. “It was a blessing that Human Nature was partnered with Gawad Kalinga, which I’ve always supported. I also support clean-up campaigns for the environment so it was really like I was incorporating myself with Human Nature.”

It seemed that Glenda’s timing could not have been more perfect because after months of observing so many customers publicly clamoring for a Quezon branch, Glenda answered her calling and decided to open her own branch. “I truly believe that this is what I was meant to do and what God wants me to do with my life. So after more than ten years of working in a bank, I availed of my optional retirement and with the help of my family and friends, I made this dream of mine a reality.”

Glenda’s commitment to Human Nature underscores the value of trust that people have in the brands that care for them – trust that brands, in turn, have the responsibility to fulfill with integrity. “I really want Human Nature Lucena to expand so that I could educate more people in the importance of going back to natural ingredients. Marami na kasing nagkakasakit ngayon because we thought basta branded, safe na. And because we trust the brand, we fail to do our duty to our bodies by reading the label.”

“At the same time, I wanted our Lucena branch to be a venue of business opportunities, not just for myself and my family, but also for my kababayans here in Quezon Province,” Glenda continues. “Human Nature Lucena is a testament to businesses that do have a heart.”
