How Withholding Tax and New BIR Rules Affect Your Earnings

HEADS UP DEAR DEALERS!

Human Nature is required to withhold the corresponding government mandated withholding taxes on all income payments made like commissions to sales agents (i.e. Dealers). In addition, we are required to submit a list of all withheld taxes with the corresponding individual names and TIN of each. Hence, we will be requiring Dealers to provide us their TIN before we release any commissions/earnings.

If you have not submitted your TIN, you can easily submit it to us via the "Submit your TIN" link at the top of your HeartQuarters, or by emailing your TIN to customer.service@humanheartnature.com.

If you don't have a TIN yet, you may register for one and get more information about it by contacting your nearest BIR branch or registering through the BIR eRegistration portal by clicking the link below:

The Updated Withholding Tax Table 2018

On March 25, 2018, the BIR made an amendment to the Withholding Tax Table Revenue Regulation 11-2108 and it provides that individual payees will be entitled to a 5% withholding tax if their annual gross income is not more than Php 3 Million.

Human Nature Dealers can avail of the 5% withholding tax when you submit:

1. A sworn declaration of your gross annual earnings; and
2. A copy of your Certificate of Registration or BIR/TIN ID.

Please note that failure to submit the aforementioned and having an annual income of more than Php 3 Million will automatically subject you to the 10% withholding tax.

You may click on the links below to download the documents which you can fill out and send to any Human Nature branch whether in person or by sending our Customer Service Team (customer.service@humanheartnature.com) a scanned copy via email. Kindly note that the BIR requires that the sworn declaration be notarized for it to be acknowledged as valid.
